Changing Times: Events

A number of events have been held as part of the 'Changing Times' project:

Saturday 29 October 2011: Oral history training workshop was held at Bexley Local Studies and Archive Centre, with training by Eastside Community Heritage.

Saturday 24 March 2012: Archive training workshop was held at Bexley Local Studies and Archive Centre to learn how archives can be used to create exhibition material.

Monday 4 June 2012: Unveiling of commemorative plaque and interpretation panel at the Clock Tower, by the Mayor of Bexley as part of Bexleyheath's Diamond Jubilee celebrations. 

1-14 June 2012: Diamond Jubilee display at Christ Church, Bexleyheath, with a 'Royal history' of the Broadway.

21-22 July 2012: Changing Times event at United Reformed Church, Geddes Place. Launch of the guided walks and exhibition of the project, opened by the Mayor of Bexley.

4-11 August 2012: Changing Times exhibition panels on display at Bexley Local Studies and Archive Centre.
