BEXLEY HISTORICAL SOCIETY BEXLEY KENT Established 1951

Bexley Historical Society in Kent UK was established in 1951 and is a small friendly Society that meets eleven times a year in the Borough of Bexley normally on the second Monday of each month ( this may be different around Easter ).We  listen to various speakers talking about their favourite  local, general historical and archaeological subjects mainly about the Bexley Borough in Kent and its surrounding areas. Above all we are a Society that fosters a wider interest in all matters of historical significance appertaining particularly to our Bexley Borough that will make each meeting of great individual interest to all those that attend.

Thank you again to all those people who stopped by our stand at the  Local History Fair at Hall Place earlier this year. We very much appreciate your interest and help particularly with information on and supply/loan of old photos of the Bexley Borough to help us with our new project  of  "Then & Now"  a pictorial history of this Borough, and very much a Work In Progress as you can understand! Please see separate page Then & Now Project for further details on how you can help us with this Project.
